# Product Mapping

In order to communicate across platforms, products that will be processed need to be mapped from a Connector Product to a Warehouse Connector Product. You can view and edit these mappings from within each individual Warehouse Connector Product section or you may bulk edit any Connector’s products from within each Connector’s Settings view.

If a Connector has been set as a Product Generator it will automatically create and link to a new Warehouse Connector Product. As new products are detected in a Connector, Warehouse Connector will attempt to map the Connector Product to a Warehouse Connector Product based on SKU. For this reason it is recommended to maintain consistent SKUs across all your platforms for ease of maintenance.
