# How do I update an order?

You can update an order after it's submitted to Warehouse Connector. Warehouse Connector allows you to edit some order details not only when you create orders manually but also if order was imported into Warehouse Connector through a source channel such as Shopify. These details include shipping address, item details, and order notes.

To update an order:

  1. Use the search box to find your customer's order. You can search for the order based on the following information:
  • order number
  • customer name
  • customer email address
  1. Click the order in the search result to view its details.
  2. On the Order Details page, click Edit Order to edit the order details. You can edit an order only if it is in Pending or Hold status.
  3. Change customer’s contact information, such as phone and shipping address.
  4. Make your changes and click Save Changes.
  5. Click Sync Order if you want to sync the order changes with the order source system.
